This past weekend second seeded sHARCs travelled to Colorado to play top seed WPL/D1 side the Gray Wolves for a place in the national final four tournament in Atlanta.
A tight first half saw the Gray Wolves ahead by 2 tries, but a strong second half by the sHARCs (including a converted try with a sHARC in the sin bin) saw the sHARCs ahead by 11 with minutes to play, However, they were unable to resist the Gray Wolves onslaught with the match finishing 39-38 in favor of the home side. The tight loss, against the only team to beat the sHARCs this season, brings a close to 15s for this year. sHARCs now move on to 7s before taking a well earned break.
