The Houston Athletic Rugby Club was founded in 1998. Since that time, HARC has competed in Rugby Union XVs and Rugby 7s as a proud member of USA Rugby and the Texas Rugby Union. HARC currently fields two Senior Men's sides and two Senior Women's side in the Red River Rugby Conference and competes against other Clubs throughout Texas and the nation.
HARC welcomes all individuals wanting to know more about the sport of rugby. Whether looking to be a player, a spectator, a coach, or a referee, HARC will help and guide you on your rugby journey.

Houston Athletic Rugby Club – Mission StatementThe Houston Athletic Rugby Club shall become, and remain, the premier rugby club in the Greater Houston Area, attracting both major sponsorship partners and the best rugby talent (support, coaching, and playing) available locally and worldwide. In the process of becoming the premier rugby club, the Club will secure a suitable facility for itself and partner clubs, increase membership recruitment and retention rates, and increase the club’s name recognition and prominence among both the rugby and general communities.
