​HARC Fall to First Place San Antonio RFC

March 4, 2023 - At a dry, dusty pitch in San Antonio, the HARC Men fell to 2-3 in the Red River Rugby Conference's D2 table.  San Antonio put the HARC men on their heels early with tries at minute 2 and minute 8 to put HARC in a 12-0 hole early.  Regrouping, the men countered with a lengthy possession that unfortunately ended on a successful SARFC charge-down during a chip and chase attempt.  Half-time score was 24-0, SARFC.  SARFC came out of half-time on fire and continued their scoring.  HARC finally broke through on a lengthy, scrum heavy drive that saw Arturo Luis Contreras at flanker, punch the ball in with Hayden Lounsbury making the successful conversion.  After a tough match, final score was 57-7, SARFC.  For the first time with HARC, man of the match was lock Ernie Saravia.
