7s Season Kicks Off

SUMMER RUGBY IS HERE AND OPEN TO ALL

The Men and Women of the Houston Athletic Rugby Club are heading to Austin, TX this Saturday to kick off the Rugby 7s Season.  Both teams will be competing in their respective gender's Premier Division looking to capture RRRC Qualifier Competition Points.

The other 2 RRRC Qualifier Tournament this season are HARC's own Hell Or High Water 7s at The Farm League Park in Spring, TX on July 15th and the Red River Rampage 7s Tournament hosted by the Dallas Reds on July 27th.  

Besides the Qualifiers, HARC is looking forward to compete in Space City 7s in Webster on June 29th, 7s By The Sea in Corpus Christie on July 20th, Cherrybone 7s in The Woodlands on August 3rd, and Score On The Shore on Galveston's East Beach on August 10th.  

During the summer, the Women will be training at the FUN Stadium in Bayland Park every Tuesday and Thursday at 8-10pm.  The Men will join the Women on Thursday nights at Bayland as well.

HARC will also be at Eleanor Tinsley Park every Tuesday through the summer playing some friendly rugby touch.  Touch is a great version of the game for those inexperienced or those not looking for contact matches any more.  Touch starts at 7 (when free parking starts!) until 8:30ish.  All genders and ages are welcomed to join us.
