Cheers to the 2024-2025 Season!
All players and supporters are invited to join the Houston Athletic Rugby Club at our 2024-2025 End of Year Banquet on August 16, 2025 at New Magnolia Brewing Company. This past year at HARC was one of many successes!
Starting from the very beginning by building off the momentum of 7s Rugby at the Paris Summer Olympics, the HARC Women have been killing it all year. The late summer/early fall Rugby 101 Sessions got new players involved in the game and led to having enough players to field 2 "independent" teams in this year's Red River Rugby Conference Women's Premiership / Division 2 Competition. Once again the SHARCs showed the are the best in Texas and raised the RRRC's Women's Premiership Championship Trophy and earned a trip to USA Club Rugby's National Championship Weekend. The SHARCs just don't play XVs though. As the mercury rose in the thermometers in Houston, so did the SHARCs play in 7s.
The HARC Men started the 24-25 XVs Season rolling on the momentum from the end of the previous season. While the first few XVs matches didn't go HARC's way, the team banded together and closed out the season with a 5 match winning streak and finishing with a 5-3 record, just missing out on the Division 2 Playoffs by 2 Table Points. The Men are playing some Social 7s during the summer while getting ready for promotion to the RRRC Men's Premiership in the 2025-2026 XVs Season.
Join us as we celebrate the above and much more in formal attire at New Magnolia Brewing! Ticket price includes a catered meal and 3 hours of open bar (beer and ciders on tap and wine). Use embedded form or link below to buy tickets today!
